What and Who is the Center for Group Learning?

Mailing list -- group-L is CGL's mailing list for announcements and discussions about group-related topics.

UPDATEOther Group Resources -- Most popular page here: a large, annotated list of group-related processes, theories, tools & organizations; and other group-related resources on and off the net. Now has a small events section.

Here's our list of Dialogue groups in the Bay Area (California, USA).

Thank goodness we have some group humor here.

group -- Three or more people (up to some number depending on whom you ask) who interact with one another.

About the CGL logo

You may have noticed that the G is made up of the C and the L. This is a graphical example of this couplet from Tom Atlee:

"The whole is greater than sum of its parts.
The part is greater than its role in the whole."

...something important to keep in mind when working with people in groups (or any parts/wholes).
